Six Artists were honored with Nepal Music and Drama National Academy Award-2079

The honorable Vice President Ram Sahaya Yadav presented the Nepal Music and Drama National Academy Award-2079 to the Six renowned artists related to music, drama, and dance on behalf of the Nepal Academy of Music and Drama at  Vice-President's Office, Lainchaur on 12 Ashar, 2080.

The Nepal Music and Drama National Academy Award-2079 is presented to senior singer and musician Ganesh Rasik in music category, Nabin Kishore Rai in folk music category, and Bijay Kumar Shrestha in traditional and classical music category.

Likewise, senior drama director Bhairav Chhetri and dramatist Prof. Dr. Ramchandra Pokharel were awarded under the stage category and drama category respectively. Senior folk dancer Kulman Nepali was honored under the dance category. 

Each awardee was presented a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,001.
